Confused about what a Boys & Girls Club means for your community? Let us clear that up for you!
Do you remember your favorite place when you were a kid? Maybe it was a friend’s house where you could always play fun games. Maybe it was your own treehouse. Maybe it was snuggled up next to your parents. Maybe (we’re getting crazy here!) it was school. Wherever it was, it was likely a place where you felt safe and had fun.
Boys & Girls Clubs aim to create more spaces like that in the world for kids across our communities. Instead of having kids out on the streets, left to their own devices to educate and entertain themselves, Boys & Girls Clubs are spaces where kids can have a great time as they learn and grow. These Clubs offer programs and services aimed at helping boys and girls know their own self-worth while feeling capable and like they belong.
The ultimate goals of Boys & Girls Clubs across the country is to support kids during their formative years. In the Conejo Valley and Las Virgenes area, we do that through before and after school programs, activities during school breaks, summer camp programs, weekend sports, and more! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley spread these programs to more than 4,000 kids age 3 to 14 throughout our community. We’re located on school properties to make it easy for kids to get involved, and are grateful for the opportunity to jump in with Conejo Valley and Las Virgenes kids during their formative years!
