Crafts to make with the whole family this Valentine’s Day.
While it’s not always a walk in the park, when it comes to true love, being a parent is likely to be at the top of your list. You love your children unconditionally. Celebrate this sweet holiday by whipping up these adorable crafts together with your kid this Valentine’s Day.
Make your own card.
Make your own Valentine’s Day cards for each other by sticking tissue paper onto paper, sprinkling red glitter, and writing a heartfelt message. Decorate your cards away from each other so that your loved one will be surprised when he/she opens it up!
Bake some cookies.
Kids love to cook and nothing makes them happier than baking up sweets for friends and family. Either bake or buy some cheap heart-shaped cookie cutters at the store and find some pink frosting and sprinkles to decorate the finished piece. Let the kids help with the baking and then let them decorate their own batch.
Create a red and pink dinner.
Celebrate the holiday of love by making a Valentine’s dinner that is red and pink! Use food coloring to color pasta, sprinkle foods with paprika, and toss strawberries, cranberries, and beetroot into salads! Use your imagination to make it special.
Write a love list.
You can all sit and make lists of reasons why you love one another, including extended family like grandparents and cousins. Then, sit in a circle and read out lists one by one.
Watch a romantic movie.
Cozy up on the couch and settle down for a fun and romantic movie! Whether it’s a classic or a bespoke piece, you will truly feel love is in the air!
